“We will visit Rome highlights, museums and open-air famous places, often viewed in movies, during the first 4 days. The next 5 days we will spend in Southern Tuscany, in the Maremma region, enjoying tranquil spaces, gentle slopes, genuine good food, and visiting traditional and less spotted attractions, plus a marvellous mini-cruise along the protected area of the Tuscan Archipelago"

ITINERARY – 2019

May – Arrive in Rome Fiumicino Airport around 10.30am - go to our hotel in the Parioli area of Rome - relax 
May – Visit the Galleria Borghese*, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, etc

May -Visit to the Vatican Museums* and St Peter's Basilica
May – Visit the Colosseum*, Bocca della Veritá, Lungotevere, etc
May – After breakfast, we board our train to lower Tuscany - drive to our resort amidst olive and wine groves

May – Optional yoga early morning - after breakfast we will drive to the local town of P.to Ercole and board our day Cruise boat to the protected islands of Giglio and Giannutri of the Tuscan Archipelago (lunch and entertainment included; extra excursion on foot, optional)

May – Optional yoga early morning - after breakfast we are visiting the Garden of Tarots and the town of Capalbio

May – Optional yoga early morning - optional* visit to thermal spa town of Saturnia and the "Tufo" town of Pitigliano; dinner in our resort (included)

May – Optional yoga early morning - after breakfast we are visiting the town of Orbetello, famous for its lagoon - optional* shopping - afternoon we will get a direct bus to Fiumicino Airport to catch our return flight late evening [based on AerLingus flights to Rome FCO]
